CHARGE DASH / PRIVACY
Privacy, by design.
Storage requirements: CHARGE.SYNC.
Effective 6 September 2026
Charge Dash is made by NIMBLESITE PTY LTD. It brings battery readings from a person's Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and connected Apple accessories into one dashboard.
Data handled by the app
Charge Dash processes battery percentages, charging states, device types, device names, observation times, and the display preferences a person sets in the app. These values are needed to collect, combine, order, and display that person's battery information.
The app stores this information locally on the person's devices. When iCloud is available, the Mac and iPhone/iPad apps sync it through the person's private CloudKit database. The paired iPhone also transfers the current snapshot to and from Apple Watch with WatchConnectivity.
Notifications
Charging alerts are optional. The Watch asks for notification permission only after the person enables alerts. Notifications identify a device that needs charging and may include its estimated empty time. Apple controls notification delivery and settings.
Collection, tracking, and sharing
NIMBLESITE does not operate a server for Charge Dash and does not receive the battery dashboard data. Charge Dash contains no advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or sale of personal data. It does not share battery dashboard data with data brokers or advertising partners.
Apple may process information when providing iCloud, WatchConnectivity, notifications, App Store, and operating-system services under Apple's privacy policy and the person's Apple Account settings.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains until the app removes or replaces it, or the person deletes the app and its data. Private CloudKit data remains in the person's iCloud account until it is removed through the app's storage lifecycle or the person's iCloud storage controls.
